And so Kusra is a village that has never seen this before, and suddenly they're finding themselves encircled by settlers who have taken a hilltop
and are now launching attacks on them every single day.
They killed somebody a couple of months ago in March, and I was there staying with a group of young men who are living in a house on the hill that the settlers stole that is directly below where the stolen house that the settlers are living in.
I was there for two nights, three days.
We were getting attacked the entire time.
They were coming.
They were throwing rocks.
They were cutting electricity.
They were flying drones over us.
What happened in this incident is there was like a full-on attack.
Two trucks full of settlers came flying at us, throwing huge rocks, trying to get in.
The soldiers finally came, they spent 15 minutes chatting with the settlers and then they came in and they immediately threw four Palestinians up against the wall and started interrogating them.
And the interaction that you're about to see is one where the soldiers are accusing the Palestinians of throwing rocks at the settlers.
And I was trying to ask the soldier, I'm not gonna like engage with this question of whether or not they were throwing rocks, I was asking like,
What I wanted to say was, is it OK to throw rocks at somebody who has stolen your friend's house and is now attacking you from it?
Like, what is the alternative for them?
And so this conversation was while they were they had these four guys up against while they were interrogating.
And they're trying to get the footage from my phone and I won't give it to them.
And so that anyway, that's what you're about to see.
