Like that is just still, I don't think you could hear that from any mainstream Democrat.
And that to me just shows that like, look, I think, again, I think it's positive that he went there.
I want to also say to people who are saying that Ro Khanna uses people as props, like the Palestinian people who he met with, the ones who I know are not naive about this.
Like they understood this was a political trip for him, that he was going to use this.
They chose to meet with him anyway.
They thought that it was worth telling their story.
So I just want to like caution people against just referring, like acting as if these people had no agency whatsoever.
Like a lot of them know who Ro Khanna is.
They follow American politics.
But again, it just like, I'm glad, I'm glad the trip happened.
Hopefully something good comes of it.
But like he and everyone else basically still so far from like putting the Palestinians on the same level playing field as every other people in the world who has a right to defend themselves, who has a right to live in dignity and has a right to not be terrorized every single day.
Yeah, well, let me actually set this one up because it's sort of like a perfect segue.
So this is in a town called Kusura, which is in the northern West Bank.
This place has not faced settler violence up until maybe the last two years.
I don't know for sure if that's right.
But the north...
was the area that settlers were evacuated from in 2005, along with the Gaza disengagement.
So there are less settlers in the north, or there have been traditionally, and there's this contingent of settlers who have basically been desperately clawing their way back there, and now they're back.
And they've reestablished four settlements there, and there's all these outposts there.
