And I think that kind of where it goes back to like the desirability of brands and like kind of where you're saying so much is like, because like the brands have kind of just kind of flattened everything.

It's like, no, we want really specific, singular, like visions that we can buy into.

And I think that's, but of course the capitalism of it all is like, you kind of want to like maximize growth.

The best way to do that is kind of like go with the lowest hanging fruit and that kind of worked for a really long time.

But I think now we're kind of seeing the downside to that where people are like, wait, I want something unique and like interesting.

And I think that's why people are going to things like vintage because it's like, it's a singular.

It's like, okay, this can say a lot about me because it's like I found it a very specific place or has a very specific story that says something about me.

And that's actually the thing I love about fashion, is that it seems so ornamental, but it's one of the first and only ways we can control what people think about us.

And I think that's an incredibly powerful thing.

I always use the example of me, because I'm a bit of a chameleon in my dressing.

I always say, me walking down the street, coming out of my apartment in a mesh Alaya gown, which I literally have and I've done, it's like a completely different

it's like reaction from people than I do when I'm like going to the office and wearing something like this, like a blazer and khakis.

I'm the exact same person.

I haven't talked to you.

I've done nothing.

All I've done is just step outside.

But how I presented based off of what I'm wearing has totally changed your reaction.

And that's super powerful.

And that's, yeah, I think it intersects with so many different parts of

culture, society, history, gender, like all of these things.
