Part of what I think that is though, is that like culturally we crave like a multi-brand experience because like a Barneys and like big retailers don't exist anymore.
And actually, and basically when you're in a vintage shop, that's what you're doing.
Like you're, you're getting a lot of, a lot of variety of sometimes of the same thing that you have like,
All your shirts from different styles, different brands, like, all kind of mix together.
And, like, it's really challenging to do that in a retail space nowadays.
And then so many of the brands have, like, started to prioritize, like, their direct-to-consumer.
So either, like, their digital or their, like, physical store footprint.
And if, like, I don't necessarily know if I want to get a...
let's say a dress from Dior, I want to go and try on all the dresses.
But like, but a Barney's, like I said, doesn't exist anymore.
So it's like, I'm going to go to maybe a very well curated vintage shop where I'm going to have to be able to get a lot of different dresses all at once.
And I feel like that's a big component of it.
And also to like the sustainability aspects and like the cost aspects and everything like on the primary market is a bajillion dollars.
I literally remember once I was like, this is Brunello Cucinelli.
You're not going to take that.
Correct.
It's a totally different, interesting cultural tension.
Totally.
I don't think Vanessa mentioned it specifically in the article, but it's a brand I'm fascinated with, with this comeback story.
But look at Coach.
