like poignant point, I think Emerald Ahmed from Business of Fashion mentioned that people used to trade up in terms of their consumption habits.
So it's like, you'd maybe started a coach because it was more like contemporary, like accessible luxury.
But at one point you'd transition to a Vuitton.
And then of course, ultimately you go to the Hermes.
That didn't happen anymore.
Like people actually at all different kind of like levels will actually just choose the coach back.
And going back to this kind of
dissolving of traditional quote unquote retail rules or like consumption rules.
And I think I find that incredibly fascinating.
And I love what you said, too, about, like, Gen Z being, like, the most biased generation.
Like, they're kind of, like, they don't follow the rules.
Something I think is where there's a lot of tension between Gen Z and other generations is that they're just living in a culture where things have moved so fast.
Like, things are moving so quickly.
And while with other generations or, like, millennials, Gen Xers, because it was very much, like, a top-down, like,
information consumption really happened through things like cable television, through things like traditional media, like it took longer for like culture and trends to shift.
But now with the internet, you kind of have both, you both have all of these kinds of micro communities.
So everyone's kind of living in their own world.
