So once she was bought into the trip I casually mentioned, fuck, you'll never guess what.

On the drive over to Auburn I realised I fucking forgot to book tickets for the pre party.
I thought that would be the best chance to see you, lads, but was relieved when I saw you posted a video arriving in Auburn in the pissing rain saying that you're having an early night.
It's all about the recovery, as you know, Leds.
So I booked a nice restaurant for me and the Misa on Friday night.
This is exactly where the romance ended and the wheels started to come off.

Next day Stone Skimming Day.
We had a lazy morning as I thought we could just catch the last bus and jump on the ferry to catch a few hours of the action.
Well, fuck me, was I wrong?
I didn't realise that this was so fucking popular.
Turns out we were booked on the ten AM bus.
We missed it.
Um through some serious groveling, I somehow um bagged us the last two seats on the midday bus.
The comeback was on, another strong recovery.
