It seemed like a good use for that, and there was still lots of available land for off-end. low-confidence

office parks um and the Route seven corridor, the Route fifty corridor, as well as Route Twenty Eight. low-confidence

As time has gone on, uh the the data center alley corridor t filled up, and so data centers started uh uh getting applications in and many approved, and many approved along Route 28 uh in on vacant parcels. low-confidence

And then uh as that started to fill up, they started because of the uh PDOP availability. low-confidence

two data centers they started filling up in areas that the county never envisioned data centers to go. low-confidence

But because it allowed it, they were able to to move into those areas. low-confidence

We've reached a point in the county where pretty much the available land is pretty much all spoken for, and most people will also recognize that from a dollar point of view, the most valuable use in this county for land. low-confidence

Is land that could be done, uh, built data centers. low-confidence

And so now we're starting to see, and I know we have several more coming. low-confidence

Commissioner Miller and I drove by several uh sites that would be coming to us. low-confidence

Now it's tearing things down. low-confidence

And as we know, the county already has concerns about uh the being land values being driven up tremendously by the data centers, and that other businesses are having a difficult time in. low-confidence

Loudoun County because of one particular industry is is sucking up all the available land. low-confidence

So then so I mentioned the the teardowns, and I'm not necessarily opposed to the concept of teardowns. low-confidence

We had one, uh I think it was called Concord, I think it was Concord Industrial, where they were removing a couple of very old uh outdated office buildings to build the data center, more in the data center alley area. low-confidence

But they were also building a quarter million square feet of flex industrial space, um that the type of space the county also really needs in a place. low-confidence

Place for those tenants, if they chose, had somewhere to move to. low-confidence

The problem I see with this is now we're tearing down other businesses, office buildings, hotels. low-confidence
