So his roadmap was like organized around the different technology platforms and engineering teams.
And it made complete sense to him.
And it made no sense to the head of sales or head of marketing or head of, you know,
partners, whatever.
And so basically I helped him take that roadmap.
I didn't change the things on the roadmap because I don't know his industry.
We just changed the way he presented it, the words he used, the way it was organized.
He went back and presented it to his management team and they loved it.
It was the exact same roadmap.
It was just your point, how he was communicating it and presenting it.
So he was thinking about himself as the audience instead of thinking about these other non-technical people as the audience.
So if I had to give people one tip
That would be because I think then so many other decisions just get you've said it a couple of times.
Know your audience.
And it holds true no matter what kind of presentation or thing you're presenting to anybody.
Always know your audience.
