You know, okay, can I pick up on that, Blake?
So I talked to a number of people about this yesterday.
I'm glad you brought that up because generally, yes.
And what I'm sure the three of us were 17 years old, we would have just been sweating buckets in a mean light.
But I'll tell you, team after team, and I remember I made sure deliberately to talk about this with various members of amateur scouting departments and general managers yesterday.
Kids now are way more comfortable than they ever have been before.
And I have a theory on this.
Let me know what you think about this one.
I think that because kids now live their lives publicly, where there's no expectation of secrecy, everything is out there, everything's on social media.
When we all grew up, the greatest fear was being watched.
And now the greatest fear is not being watched for kids growing up now.
They are more comfortable than ever
in social settings, whether it's with peers or whether it's with adults.
They are much more comfortable at communication because they carry a communication tool in their pocket every single day.
Like, like just to pick up on that point, you're like, they all really seem like once upon a time, like,
I remember doing Combine interviews and how Hendrix Lapierre just stood out above everybody because he was friendly and happy and energetic answers and didn't step on his tongue and didn't look at his shoelaces.
He really, really stood out.
Back in that draft, there was one Hendrix Lapierre.
Now there's like 20.
