And I think, no, absolutely fair.
And I wrote about this at Canucks Army yesterday.
And I think this really is the point right here, right now.
And we go back to this idea of cost cutting.
Is that a factor for the Vancouver Canucks?
Because the three main guys in player development last year were Daniel and Henrik Sedin and Jason Krogh.
They have all been elevated to different roles in the organization.
The Sedin's obviously at the top of the food chain and Jason Krogh now an assistant coach.
But these were three guys that spent time before and after and during practice and working with injured players on their way back to the lineup and all of that.
And right now, none of those has been replaced in the player development department, which for a rebuilding team seems like it would be a massive hole.
My sense is that they have traded the track suits for business suits full-time.
I don't anticipate that you're going to see them, and you certainly aren't going to see them out in Abbotsford working with whoever they bring in to be the head coach out there.
No, I think that ship has sailed, at least for now, but they were regulars.
They were on the ice at just about every practice when the Canucks were at home.
On the days they weren't practicing, we saw that they were out in the Fraser Valley.
They were all in on the player development side and
and Jason Krogh as well.
And, you know, I think people say, oh, player development, how really important is it?
What do these guys do?
