And you're right.
If
If college athletes and black college athletes can turn things in one way, they can certainly turn it in the other direction.
And what I would say, and this is for, you know, the Democratic Party or representatives in these states, I think one way maybe you can hook these athletes in is
to becoming more invested in this cause is by dangling something that I know that they all pay attention to, and that's NIL money.
And Donald Trump and Nick Saban and a lot of those college football power brokers are trying to limit
their ability to make as much money as possible on their name, image, and likeness and stop the steady flow of them defeating them in court.
So my suggestion would be to politicians in those areas, if you want the young people to also take a vested interest in politics, talk to them about what the Republican Party is trying to do to their NIL money.
And that might be the carrot that you dangle that will get them involved in this other cause to where they understand that
that it is certainly a vested community interest that's on the line, but it's also a personal stake for you in the game to why you should be opposed to what this party is doing.
Like you want to be able to vote these people out of office that's coming out of your money.
Well, you won't be able to do that if black political power has been diluted, if our representation has been taken away.
So there's a personal reason why you should be invested in this.
That's a really good idea.
I mean, I think there needs to be a mass organization at some of these games to where people understand what exactly is at stake.
