And last night I took her to see Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, and Stephanie Mills.
She has long wanted to do this, see them in concert.
And a more special treat was that Chaka Khan brought out Stevie Wonder.
And it was, when I tell you my mother got her whole life
She sung everything.
She was up and down screaming.
She was shouting, we love you, Shaka.
Like she was fully immersed in the experience.
And she, you know, it really made me feel good that she was like, this is one of the best experiences of my life.
And I'm glad we got to experience that together because this was all the music she played for me when I was growing up.
And so for her to get to see her favorite artists live and they did all of his, I mean, their catalogs are so deep.
So I might've been the youngest person there, but that's okay.
It was, it was a wonderful time.
Well, as soon as they announced, as soon as they announced that they were all going to tour together, I was like, I got to go see this with my mom because I know how much she loved their music.
And she's a music fan in general, but like really that was, you know, her era of music.
And so it was just special to see her just like so delighted.
And I wasn't the only child with that idea because the majority of people there, you know, it was quite a few older people there, but many of them were brought clearly by their children.
So like we all kind of had the same idea.
