Thank you so much for coming on our podcast.
Our conversations, you and I, are usually confined to me telling you how cute your coat is at an iHeart party.
That's usually the extent of the conversation.
So we wanted to start by talking about your book, I Choose Me, Chasing Joy, Finding Purpose, and Embracing Reinvention.
What was it about turning 50 that made you want to look back on your journey with a new perspective?
um intentional than just like waiting for my manager to call me and say hey there's an audition you could put yourself on tape for right right right yeah no i feel like that's the acting curse right especially when you're a young actor it's like you just get into the habit of waiting for that opportunity to come and then maybe you'll get the part or maybe you won't and yeah i feel like in some ways maybe we were all a little slower to learn to take care of ourselves
But then in other ways we were more mature, right?
Because we were like working full time and in, in working with adults who are older than us.
So it's like, it's this weird paradigm or contradiction, you know?
I think doing this podcast, an unexpected result for us has been the realization that we have all apparently blocked some things out.
So when you were looking back on your life, is that something you noticed you had also experienced?
