I'm like, don't get too drunk, Jen.
Yeah.
So it's, it's really exciting.
So it's a tremendously exciting year in the book.
Like I think the themes of sisterhood and family are, they're so translatable to different countries, to different audiences.
And I think that's why it's, it's done pretty well abroad.
Okay.
Okay.
So I heard my publisher pitch this at an event as Bad Sisters meets Big Little Lies.
And I was like...
well you said it I mean that feels true I'm like cool okay because love both of those adore bad sisters and Big Little Lies was hugely um uh inspiring actually for me because we have all these really complicated yeah kind of tonally I I'm I'm with you yeah really okay great that tracks for me when they said that I said cool I get to repeat that now but not like sound big at it
So that's the kind of genre.
It's a mystery.
And it's more of a mystery than a thriller, but it's in the crime bracket.
And it's set in Dunmore East, this beautiful coastal village in Waterford.
And it is about three sisters who have complicated lives and very complicated relationships with each other.
So we have the eldest, Susanna.
She's a novelist, fairly well known.
The youngest, Lucy, who's an ex-guarda who left the guards in mysterious circumstances that she has to confront in the book.
And then the middle sister, Tara, who's quite unhappy in her life.
