And the reason probably why I was completely unaware that this was even happening is that it has been a very quiet process.

So she launched into some swinging criticism of the GAA.
She says the management committee was, quite frankly, less than impressive and very disappointing to me as a long-term GAA supporter to meet a body that was so lacking in vision for the future of the GAA.
And she said, I hate to say this, but I suspect that there are people who are not entirely.
happy about the idea of including women in decision making at the top level of Gaelic sports.
That is serious.

So it's more of a mic fling across the room.
So the the GAA has hit back very forcefully at what it calls these offensive claims of misogyny within the organization.
And Jarleth Burns, who's the president, um, has asked her to reflect on her remarks.
