And it was rooted in the most horrendous misogynistic assumptions about how women should behave.

And the kind of things that we see, you know, even held against women who are victims themselves in cases of sexual violence.

You know, that there's this idea that there is a way that people should behave in circumstances of extreme stress and trauma and horror.

And if they don't behave that way, then they're not telling the truth.

Yes.

And Amanda Knox was probably the most public victim of that.
