And yeah, I agree, but then he also followed that up with saying
Um, and uh the church is a drawing people in with uh their unapologetic male clergy.
And you know, to be honest, I I would quibble over that, uh, not to be rude about your clergy, Ben, but I don't find them to be apologet unapologetically male.
I think the um
The mainstream church has been
limp wristed uh uh in terms of deal uh in terms of delivering moral authority to congregants.
I've seen it myself in you know I don't go to mass regularly but anytime I do it's in it's uh invariable that the priest will say something very wet and very banal about how we should all be nice to each other and then leave it at that.
It's actually it's it's actually worse.
Um and and to be honest, I mean, you said saving the best to last.
It is obviously saving the worst to last because this is every parent's worst nightmare.
This is a level of evil that actually, to be honest, uh th it's this kind of story because sadly, this is not a one-off.
Um, and it's been this kind of story that since twenty twenty has driven me
to believe in to believe in God because this is such an evil act.
So uh yeah, a family in Massachusetts has been permanently barred from contacting their own daughter.
They're a devout Catholic family whose daughter was going to public school and at 15 sort of switched seemingly quite quickly overnight from being a very devout young woman, young girl who was so she would lead the rosary, and she was so devout she was uh green lit to get her confirmation a year early.
Um, and then you know, from one day to the next.
Next a change in her
mood and her her manner and her behavior, the parents came to find out that she had been socially transitioned at school.
This is shockingly common.
I follow a lot of women and men families who have had similar experiences across the United States and not just in the United States, across the Western world.
