You know, I had no reference to go off.

You know, so that understanding of that what was happening to me was actually, was not okay.

you know, I never had that knowledge, you know.

And I mean, the thing is that any child should not have to have that knowledge because, you know, they're parents and caregivers.

And in this sense, you know, I also didn't have, you know, a coach that could have stepped in because, you know, my coach was my father, you know.

And then obviously when I was homeschooled,

My parents were doing that.

So when you have any type of authority figure or a sense of a caregiver or anything like that, that might be able to

pick something up or those type of things.

I really didn't have that.

I didn't have that at all.

And that, you know, created that sense of, even if there was a way of getting out, there really wasn't because every aspect of my life was controlled.

You know, I think that that is exactly what, you know, abusers and perpetrators do.

You know, they isolate, you know, emotionally, psychologically, but the moment that your environment itself becomes isolated and, you know, where I grew up is, you know, it was incredibly isolated.

You know, it would, you know, when it would rain heavily, you know, the causeways would be blocked off, you know, and I think that that,

Isolation itself in terms of environment, you know, is what really drove that extreme end of the abuse that I faced and also it really didn't allow me as I got older to have an aspect of, you know, that what was happening to me was just not okay and far from not okay, so...

Yeah, it's kind of an interesting relationship that I've always had with running.

In a sense, it's on the track.
