You're going to, like, come up with a couple questions, or maybe you'll come with the questions of, like, who's going to take the lead with crying baby?
Who's going to take the lead with housework or food?
Really just, like, practical, tactical questions.
And you're going to sit down and be like, okay, we're going to answer question number one.
And you don't talk about it.
You don't talk about it.
You write down a couple lines or bullet point notes in response to the question.
And then you exchange the pieces of paper.
And when you're reading his, you read it out loud.
And you say, okay, so you're saying X, you're saying this, Y, Z. Okay.
And you ask him questions.
You don't tell him what you think.
You just ask him a little bit more questions.
And then he reads yours and he gets to ask you questions.
