I I feel as though that's a bit misplaced.
And at this panel I went to, um
uh Scott Stevens, who's a uh he he was hosting it, he said um had this quote about how it's a a terrible thing to feel like a problem.
And in a lot of these conversations, whether it's articles about the enormous cost of aged care,
What you're telling people is that they hit an age and they are a social problem and an economic problem, and how are we going to support you and blah, blah, blah?
There are elements of that which are true, which is like, what do you do if baby boomers are in a very different economic situation to say uh the generations after them?
When they get old, what do you do when you don't have 20 years of savings to look after you or whatever?
There's gonna
to be an economic crisis.
But to talk about people only in those terms and to not give them
dignity and go, you've contributed a lot.
You're it's not that you're no longer valuable if you're not what, productive?
If you can't

Um I uh this d idea is probably unfounded and also sexist, but on on the topic of retirement
