You know, we really need to see a traffic study, and not just a traffic study that gets the
the bear fans off of, or I should say the event fans, because it's not just bear games, but off the property and into the road system, we need to see a robust traffic study that gets people separated from the facility and out and into the main arteries.

So we haven't seen a traffic study, and we need to see an impact study.
People keep throwing out numbers of what the cost might be for the infrastructure.
We don't know.
Nobody's shown us a document that says it's going to cost this much money to fix this interchange.
It's going to cost this much money to widen this road.
It's going to cost this much money.
So we're left with these hypothetical numbers, and we don't live in the world of hypothetical.
We
15 years ago, Palatine was $120 million in bond debt.
15 years ago, we were debt-free.
We've been debt-free now for the past couple of years, and that took a lot of hard work by our
staff and by the elected officials here in Palatine.
We built a police station.
We built a fire station.
We renovated Village Hall in those 15 years.
So we're kind of an anomaly when it goes to that.
So what we don't want to see is something that falls through the cracks in an infrastructure build should the Bears come here.
