And now we're left fixing a roadway that we didn't intend to fix that was never in the plan but is in the plan because of the impact from the traffic and the Bear fans
or the event fans, I should say.
And then we're going back into debt because at the end of the day, guys, we don't receive any revenue from the project.
Our schools do, which is great.
For sure, they've had an opportunity to negotiate their tax certainties.
We won't see anything.
People keep saying, oh, your bars, your restaurants are going to be full on Bears Day.
Don't worry about it.
You're going to see a huge boom in economic growth.
Well,
People come down and take a look at our bars and restaurants, whether the Bears are at Soldier Field or the Bears are at Energy Stadium or the Bears are out at SoFi.
They're always full.
They're always full on Bears Day.
So that's not going to change.
So we know that we might see an uptick in some things, but it's not going to move the needle enough that we would potentially have to go out and fix roads that we never intended to fix.
They are, Molly, and that's what we've been saying from the beginning.
And the mega bill project took care of a lot, and it purposely, from what we were told, didn't go into the infrastructure and address the infrastructure issues.
That's going to be coming, hopefully, in this next step.
And, again, we've said from the very beginning, Palatine just needs to be cost neutral.
We just don't want to fall into some type of deficit situation
