Two former congressmen, Chris Stewart and Brad Carson, have launched a pro-human PAC.
It's called Public First.

Their goal is to take on the influence of people like Greg Brockman, Marc Andreessen, Joe Lonsdale, and their super PAC leading the future.
They have roughly $100 million right now to cede to candidates who are pushing the big tech agenda.
Public First has got a goal of 50 million.
Maybe they'll hit 100.
But one way or the other, they want to support candidates who are willing to stand up against big tech and are willing to stand up for just sensible regulations and guardrails put on AI.
And when was this announced and how big is it?
It was announced yesterday, and depending on how much support they can get and what candidates are willing to stand up, it could be enormous.
This entire fight right now over the moratorium being snuck into the NDAA or the supposed draft of the EO to do much the same,
What they want to do is ensure that states have the right and the flexibility to craft their own laws.
They want to see sensible child protection laws put in place.
And of course, on our side of this, they want to see strong export controls for chips going to China and other rivals.
Hopefully they'll support candidates that are willing to cut China off entirely on this.
Well, on the note of the moratorium, it's unclear what angle they're going to take, but they're not going to stop.
