And I would kind of it always got like a hobby amount of time.
And I would say even like a hobby amount of headspace, but I made decisions as if it was a business and not even like super intentionally necessarily.
But again, I thought I was going to be like a business guy or a sales guy.
And so I'm like, well, if a small panel of leather costs, I'm making up the numbers, um,
$20 a square foot and I can buy an entire side for $10 a square foot.
I'm like, well, man, that's a better deal, right?
And so I'm gonna save some money and buy the full side.
So it's just like things like that I would do those first few years.
And then, yeah, really there was an event kind of at the end of 2020, beginning of 2021 that really catapulted the company in a way that 2021 we grew massively, still a hobby, but 10X probably what we did in 2020.
Uh, it was like, all right, this is, this is a, uh, an intentional side hustle now.
And then 22, we grew 23, we grew.
And then, yeah, it was in 24, 2024 where it's like, all right, I legitimately, nothing happened.
Thankfully, like I didn't break no, uh,
My wife and I were OK.
Right.
Life was OK.
And it was like, man, what I'm doing is not sustainable.
I cannot keep running this side hustle company while I'm trying to be faithful at a full time day job at the church and be a good husband and be a good dad and just take care of myself.
And so, yeah, just it got to a point where I had zero margin and was living reactively like I wasn't present because I was constantly thinking about what I wasn't doing.
That was the point where it's like, all right, something needs to change.
