And so, man, we ended up giving roughly half of the renovation budget to the church.
Wow.
Dude, first off, it was awesome.
It was one of the most fun, joyful, humbling, cool things we've got to be a part of.
And we celebrated even the specific amount with close friends of ours.
We think there's a lot more freedom within close friendships and circles to just share openly with finances.
Yeah.
challenge each other, encourage each other, learn from each other.
And so, man, we celebrated that.
We were convinced that's what faithfulness looked like for us in that season.
And then guys, this is where it gets crazy.
I mean, we did that.
We kind of said, all right, let's move forward with half the renovation.
And 30 days later, God resupplied everything.
To use a modern phrase from like what younger cool kids say, the math did not math.
Like it did not make sense.
And so that, and a big portion of what he resupplied us with, there was kind of two or three things, but one in particular was just the biggest order at the time for daily goods.
And so I don't, to be clear, I don't believe it always works that way.
You know, we didn't give with that in mind.
We weren't trying to, we didn't have that expectation.
