And it's just more in line with what he did at LSU.

And being able to play in tighter alignments, I think that helps unlock his length.

It takes away the space element of having to play on the edge.

We know that he's not super flexible, so it's not like he's needing to really turn from wider alignments and close down distances.

I just think it's going to be better for him.

And so I think...

that's going to be really good for Landon because I remember last year being at camp and watching him and just like, man, are you going to do anything that gets me excited?

Even in the preseason, he doesn't dress on game day.

He plays like 30 snaps and hurts his knee.

It's like, oh, man, this doesn't feel good at all.

I feel like this rejuvenates my enthusiasm for Landon, and I think this defense is more tailored for what he truly brings to the table.

Dee Alford, really, really competitive guy.

I think they're going to be a little bit multiple with their slot options, but he'll be the primary guy.

Good coverage player, some good back and forths.

Some of those slot matchups are tough.

He's got to go against McCall Hardman in a one-on-one, and when you're an inside slot player, you're pretty much counting on all of the different...

spacing of the coverage with, you know, you're going to have backers and safeties and corners, you know, around you.

And so now you just have nothing but space and a 4-3 athlete in McCole Hardman, he's going to be able to run to space and it's going to be difficult for you.

You're going to look like you're chasing a rabbit out there, right?

And that does happen a little bit with Dee, but I think within the structure of the defense where he can play within the scheme, you know, he'll have a lot of good moments and I think he'll be a good answer in the slot.
