And I especially like that

it's not going to be what they've asked Taryn Johnson to do in the past, which is really be a second-level player and have to fill against the run and get grimy.

And that will still be required to some degree, but it's a lot more of a coverage position.

And I think D. Alford can be a good matchup neutralizer against some of those shiftier slot players.

Well, he's a good press corner, so when he's able to smother you at the line of scrimmage, you know, it's game over.

You're off the menu.

And when he's able to do that and suffocate and choke out those routes, he's really good.

But when guys are able to win with a release or he's off coverage and now it's more reliant on his ability to transition, whether it's flip his hips and turn and run or transition and work back downhill, he's just not super loose, right?

He's got tight hips and he's –

He's kind of high-hipped, and so those transitions aren't very clean.

And so guys that can run routes and are smooth and can get in and out of breaks, they're going to separate.

And so he's got some challenges.

And then also for a physical press corner, he's got a really narrow build.

He's thin.

For sure.

And when you don't have that low center of gravity and now you're more long and lean,

you know, it's, it's more difficult, right?

It's to, because you're just, you have a different body composition.

And so you have to be a true technician and stay square because if guys get to your edges, you don't have a lot of width about yourself, you know, to be firm and play through that contact and win.

And so, you know, he's got some, some challenges there, but you know, if he, if he can play and press man and, and win at the line of scrimmage, he can be really good, but there's the risk reward element with that.
