Hockey has to be good, as Bill Guerin said when he acquired them, and hockey has been good in Minnesota for him.

And you think he sees a window here winning a championship, which is important.

So for all types of purposes, he has shown a lot of interest in re-signing as early as this summer.

So I guess the question is, you know, how much that'll be.

So I know they want to build a competitive team, and it's a matter of having how much money can go around.

But I wouldn't be surprised if something gets done this summer between Quinn and Minnesota.

It's been such a great fit, and whether that's a shorter-term versus longer-term remains to be seen, but that could definitely happen.

I mean...

With the cap going up, I don't know.

I mean, I guess if you're a player with that age, you could sign a three-year deal and then also be in free agency again.

You could sign a three-year deal, and then all of a sudden he'll be up when Jack Hughes is up, right, at the same time, and they can decide where they want to go together.

And if you're the Wilds, I would take four more years of Quinn Hughes next year and three more years, and that's pretty much their cup window right there.

So that would work out really well on that end.

Yeah.

But then again, if he wants the security and wants to go longer, I'm sure they would go longer as well.

But that's just an idea or a thought process that could work well for both sides.

And he would still have the flexibility of, in a few years, being able to decide again where to go.

Well, I grew up in Detroit Alliance fans, so we get our own misery back in the day.

So teasing you with great, really good teams that give me the playoffs and stuff like that.

But, but I'll tell you, like, I mean, they're competitive every year.
