Um, their top goalie prospect.

And, um, I, I really do wonder if the playoffs did change things, not just the playoffs, but the fact that Gustafson has hip surgery, surgery coming up and,

may not be ready to start the season on time following hip surgery.

So it would be hard for me to trade a guy like that, not knowing what it would look like to start the season with Gustafson.

So that would probably take him, I mean, unless you want to be really aggressive and know Gustafson is going to come back and trade him.

But he would be their biggest ship if they decided to make him available.

You know, they do have some young forward prospects, whether it's Uroff and Charlie Stramel, one of the top players in college hockey last year at Michigan State.

You know, they do have the first round pick coming up the next year.

They can trade.

So they have other guys, you know, some young defense prospects, but none of them are the big splashy ones, the ones that they gave up in the Quinn Hughes trade, right?

Once they traded, you know, Zeeb William and Marco Rossi, those are three of their top prospects.

So it's hard to kind of replenish them so quickly, but.

Um, it might have to come down to trading a roster player, you know, might have to come down to trading more of a hockey trade versus a prospect trade.

So, um, that's something that I may have to have to consider in my opinion, if they want to make one of those bigger moves.

I think, you know, I don't know what the negotiations look like or will look like.

um the cap is obviously going up to i think 113 the year after that right so uh is going higher and he's one of the best players in the world right so he can you know ask for a lot so i you i think you would hope if you're a wild fan he comes underneath the 17 million dollars the 17 million dollars feels like an outlier in the national hockey league at this particular point um but um you know it'll be interesting to see i think mccarr will be up at the same time right so you wonder if the
