casualties now in multiple countries and the three in Jordan, one in Iraq, plus the ongoing dilemma, the fight right now over the future of Lebanon with Israel withdrawing from the southern part of that and kind of the future unclear of how that's going to be settled as Lebanon tries to ensure that Hezbollah doesn't remain there.
Yeah, I mean, I think there is a risk right now.
That is the biggest immediate effect that people will see from the war in Iran.
I mean, right now, I think the average gasoline price for a gallon is back up to $4.
And for Trump, there's obviously a huge risk for that politically.
That has always been like a big issue that Americans vote on prices.
He's taken a toll on that for the past year.
And if
You know, Americans seem to be able to connect the prices they're seeing on a lot of goods, including oil and gas, on Trump's decision to go to war.
And as Democrats point out often, it wasn't necessarily a war of necessity, they argue, but a war of choice.
And so that's a dangerous spot right now for Republicans to be at a few months out from the November midterm elections.
Well, that's up for debate.
I mean, Democrats would argue that Congress needed to sign off on this.
But the Trump administration has said this isn't a war.
