I was scared.
I'm like, I I don't know if I'm ready to do that.
I've been trained, but I don't know if I'm gonna be capable of walking into a cave with my knife out and potentially going hand to hand and killing somebody with a knife.
I don't know if I can do that.
I'm sure I would be capable of doing it, but it's just it's it's such a departure from your civilian.
In life, even in training, we would do really intense training stateside for for SEAL for the SEAL teams, like really intense, like role players.
I mean, we would do like uh there's a training you go through where you basically prep for what it would be like to be in captivity, and it's it's very hands-on.
I mean, you're effectively tortured and and put through the ropes for a long period of time.
Yeah.
So I'm used to training that's extremely intense.
Nothing beats actually mortal combat, because that's what it is.
It's crazy.
And you also I would say, and maybe it was something that we all sort of intentionally did to m to make the situation feel better or something, but very quickly, very quickly, I would say within maybe two to three weeks of being in country, I went from being the guy who was scared to go on the operation.
To being not excited to go, but utterly indifferent.
Utterly in I I I I that's where you landed?
All of us did.
The only the only thing we would be concerned about would be like, are we doing something that needlessly risks the lives of our team?
Because there were definitely times where in order to
try to capture someone or go after some known bad guy.
The only way to do it was to do it in a way that was sort of risky to the team.
