So there's a period of time where invariably we're gonna be exposed our backs are going to be exposed.
You know, fire an RPG at us, one of us is getting killed at least.
And you even even though we're in this bad of a situation, you can't call in an airstrike.
You can't be like, We're in, we're in, we're in a bad way.
We got to get out of this.
You can't do it.
And so we sat there for like twenty, thirty minutes and my team lead, he's amazing, um, very stoic guy.
He's he's currently over at team six, one of the best guys I've ever met.
He finally just went up and down the line and we're all hiding sort of behind this this bridge and we're listening periodically to the chatter coming through of these fighters talking about, you know, getting ready to shoot us.
And uh he's like, Take take one last piss, like have a sip of water, like we're Navy SEALs, we're gonna we're gonna go forward.
If we're gonna get shot, we're gonna get shot in the chest, you know.
We're gonna go forward into the city and conduct this mission.
And so I remember taking a piss, like kneeling and taking a piss behind this wall and thinking, Is this the last time I'm gonna pee?
Is this it?
Like this is the end.
And so we get our shit together.
But it was like motivating in a way.
We weren't like bloodthirsty.
It was like, fuck it, dude.
Like this is this is what we came here for.
