It just was like, wow.
So we walked in here, they got the drop on us.
We sort of were able to keep our wits about us, but we didn't we didn't find a bomb maker, suicide bomber, weapon cache.
We just got shot a bunch, narrowly survived, and and here we are.
Now it's like, you know, 10 o'clock at night or whatever it is.
And it's the the city's kind of gone quiet again.
And so by this
point, you know, our team lead reminded us like our job now is not just to stay here and try to shoot something, you know, like we didn't accomplish what we wanted to do.
It didn't go well.
Let's let's get out of here.
But as we're getting ready to leave, and by this point, we've all broken up across the city.
You know, we're we're in these disparate little fire teams that are spaced out pretty far away from each other.
And we had these maps that were printed out, like an overhead view that showed each building.
We had numbers for each building.
Um, you know, it's like we sort of knew where everybody else was, the different fire teams.
But for the most part, you're sort of on your own, like five, six, seven dudes at a clip.
And so there's like
Like this effort to try to figure out where is the best place for us to meet up for us to then exfil and get out of the city without getting killed.
And so as as the team leads are doing that.
Uh, our fire team overhears uh one of the drones overhead that's being flown by someone, I think, in Las Vegas.
