There's been decades of war fighting, and there have been so many people that have dealt with so many combat tours in a row, like some of the Marines.
And the army infantry that we we would see overseas.
These guys are doing nine, 12 month deployments multiple times.
Like these are guys that have terrible support and they're getting effed up.
Their friends are dying left and right.
Like there's
There's a huge amount of of like trauma and and you know problems that arise from that for sure.
And I've only really gotten a little taste of that myself.
But iron not ironically, but there's this there's a flip side to the coin, which is not equally bad, but it's bad for certain people.
And that is uh it's referred to as chasing the dragon in in at least in my limited exposure to the teams.
You get to a SEAL team.
You don't really have a say in where you go.
You get you you have some level of say, you know, in what platoon you get put into to a degree, but you sort of get sent off to a SEAL team.
You basically get placed in a platoon of 25 guys.
And where you end up deploying to is dependent on so many different factors, but none of them are uh boy, I'd really like to go to war.
That's what I want to do.
Like you who can ever everybody wants to go to war.
That's sort of how it works.
But you don't really have a say in it.
You just go wherever your platoon is attached to.
