Was he a big leader in the dressing room, Alan Hansen?
Alan Hansen was a leader on the pitch.
He never said a word in the dressing room.
They were very quiet.
Very quiet.
Never said a word.
It's so interesting at Liverpool.
You didn't have, you know, at Liverpool it was more about the team and leaders in the team rather than
commanding figure who's going to go, come on, lads, let's get going.
Liverpool always wanted to have.
I suppose the difference when you were playing was that because you had so many foreign players coming in that you needed a kind of like a stabilising influence, be they British or be they strong like you and Stevie.

That's what Tony would do.
Yeah, but, I mean... That's clever, isn't it?
That wasn't the banter.
But, I mean, that never inspired me or not inspired me.
You know, I wasn't interested in whether he was going to shout or not.
I mean, some people go, he's the leader, and looking after it, but I was going, well, what's he doing that for?
You know what I mean?
