Yeah, I'd say it's almost impossible because there's still enough time where buyers can flip into sellers, sellers can flip into buyers.
You know, teams like the Angels can decide that they want to sell less than they had planned on selling or should sell at the deadline.
So it's so early to declare anything for just about any team in the American League outside of that the Yankees and Rays will be buying hard and the
Angels will be selling to at least some extent.
Beyond that, any team can rip off 11 of 15 and put themselves right back in the thick of it.

So it makes it pretty hard to have your eye on particular teams and players.
It's just sort of like, oh, I'm going to be waiting until August 1st or even 2nd or 3rd to see what this team probably will be doing.

the deadline may be even more of a deadline than usual, where teams aren't going to be making trades on July 31, because there's still enough that can happen in the three intervening days to flip a team or decide that they don't want to sell to as big of an extent as they were going to.

I think that there are some teams like the Rangers, for example, where they could soft sell the rentals that they could trade, which are mostly, I think, maybe entirely relievers.

Like the Rangers, for example, if they make the playoffs, it's going to be because their offense is healthy and hitting and their starting rotation is doing a really good job.
