Like that is what their team is constructed around.

And the bullpen has sort of, for lack of a better word, been an afterthought for the last couple of years anyway.

And, you know, if someone really wants Jacob Junis or Tyler Alexander, and there's that good, to use your phraseology, first mover advantage, then I don't know that they would necessarily hesitate to move one of the two.

not waving the white flag either and saying, like, look, we think we can still make a run if Seager and Langford and Nimmo are all healthy and hitting at the same time.

And that does have shades of the Tigers from a few years ago.

So I think that there's certainly teams that could do both.

the potential for challenge trades of teams saying, look, like neither of us are going to wave the white flag, but we have a surplus of position Y and you need position Y and we want position X that you can deal from.

So it could be a very sort of blurry trade deadline in terms of who's buying and who's selling and to what extent teams are buying and selling beyond the handful of teams at the top and the handful at the bottom.

Yeah, I think so.

And I think for them, like they did so much of their work, obviously, you know, getting one out from winning the World Series and saying, OK, we have to make a World Series caliber team in the offseason and, you know, run into injury law, bad luck and, you know, really bad negative regression for some players.

But.

I think they're thinking probably is like, we just sort of have to stand pat.

Like we're not going to put chips in to try to win with this team per se, but stranger things have happened.

And we have all of these guys under club control anyway, that the hope is just let's just get better and hopefully get some injury reinforcements and have Vlad start hitting and all of these things that they were hoping would happen from day one, but didn't happen.

And, you know, see if they can make a run from there.

They're not in the division to be able to do that.

they're in the league to be able to do that for sure where they have the talent on the roster to be able to string some wins together they just obviously have to actually do that um but in terms of like wholesale changes to the roster or even minor changes to the roster whether it's buying or selling i don't know that i see them super active in the coming weeks
