I said, what we'll do is it will say not only do they get a holiday when they bring the home loan here, we'll give them 10 cents per liter fuel discount every week for a year.
And they went, What?
I said, Yeah, up to 50 liters because most people have got small cars.
Now 50 liters multiplied by 10 cents is five dollars.
That's all it is.
You multiply that by 52 liters, 52 weeks, that comes in at $260.
Now that bank
Would normally give a mortgage broker two or three thousand dollars spotters fee for a loan.
They were getting loans for people coming and swapping the home loan to get petrol discounts every week for a year that cost the Building Society two hundred and sixty lousy dollars.
People coming across to get the holiday and get that.
And you know what?
Only 70% of those petrol discounts were ever claimed, which meant that the promotion itself didn't cost them $260.
It costs them two hundred dollars.
That's what people should be doing, taking their eyes off the price.
The misnomer that's out there for most businesses is that I've got to be the cheapest.
Yeah.
Look what I would do and you know, you don't have to use me to follow that social media platform contest formula.
You can do it yourself.
I mean, you know, why you would want to do that when we've got it down pat, I'll never know because I don't do my own grease and all changes on the car.
