But, you know, my view is, and I'm biased of course, because this this is what we do for a living, but I've got the runs on the board to prove that it works.

Only have those price discounting events two or three times a year to put cash in your pocket.
The rest of the time, build a business based on value adding rather than price discounting.
Can I just bring this up for the podcast industry?
A couple of weeks ago he said, Well, he said I take your point about not having a database and when you do have a database, of course you it's a lot easier to sell to them because you you know, your emails will probably get open.
Uh he said, Well so what do I do to get a database?
And I said, basically run a contest.
So therefore uh
just run a contest.
When you're doing this right now, let's just say now at the end of this interview, we said, Okay, you've got the chance to win.
Um, not only a podcast package, although a lot of your listeners probably wouldn't fall into the category of being turned on by that because they're just regular business owners.
So maybe that's not appropriate, but you might say to them, look, win $10,000.
Now, you know, you can get $10,000, I can get $50,000 for a prize from Lloyds of London for around about $2,000 to $3,000.
Okay.
We have the big million dollar drawers from time to time.
We had a Fiji resort that was running at 32% occupancy.
We got it up to 100% occupancy within a fortnight because we said to everybody, including travel agents,
in Australia who were sending people to Fiji
