So I stumbled across football.
football and Liverpool via the TV and via the FA Cup final.
Football sport, you couldn't find it anywhere on television back in the day apart from something like the FA Cup final or horse racing on a Sunday afternoon or in the weekend or Speedway wrestling.
It's why all these sports became
really popular, I think, because that was, everyone was just desperate for some sport in their lives and it was like, whatever you've got, we'll have it.
Wrestling?
Yeah.
Speedway?
Yeah, go on then, yeah.
It's like, it's, so I, Liverpool lost to Manchester United in 1977 in the FA Cup final and I remember as a young kid, young, kind of like, you know, a young, kind of,
I felt sorry for Liverpool.
It was a weird... Well, you won't remember, you're too young.
But the goal to win it was a bit of a scruffy goal.
Lou Macari and Jimmy Greenhoff, I think, and it's sort of like...
And I remember feeling, oh, that's unfortunate.
And I was quite a sensitive soul, you know, back then.
And then three days later, four days later, Liverpool played Borussia Mönchengladbach in the European Cup final in Rome.
And they beat, when Keegan was playing for Liverpool, they beat Mönchengladbach 3-1.
And that was the moment when...
Because that game was on live as well.
