So you'd had the cup final on Saturday, and then you'd only had to wait four days for another live game on the Wednesday night.

I wasn't someone who used to go and watch them because I didn't have the means to do that.
And I'd always played football, and I played football up until I was about probably 30, 35, as in 11-a-side regularly.
And I loved playing.
So I'm not someone who was a regular or a season ticket holder, used to go and watch them regularly.

People do generally give up their lives for their football teams and they travel around the world and they work hard and, you know, it is their life and they should be, you know, they're the ones who... I wouldn't go on and start talking about, you know, fans and giving my opinions and that sort of stuff because I don't really feel I'm, you know, I'm in the position to do that if I'm not going and watching the games, you know, week in, week out.

I support Liverpool in my own way and I love them and I'm very passionate about them.
But I think that, you know, the guys who go and, you know, stand in the carport and travel away and travel around the world and who live and breathe it, then, you know, it's... I find... I feel it'd be kind of a bit...
almost disrespectful for me to kind of be like, God, oh yeah, I'm this massive Liverpool fan, you know, and it's kind of like, so, but I am, but not compared to, you know, the guys who, you know, who live and breathe it.
If I go to football, yeah, and if I go to a gig, because, I don't know, yeah, that's, if I go out
