Whenever your staff is getting a table for something.
It is incumbent upon them to provide the attorney's office with all the information that they need.
The day of the event we were still trying to get information out of staff.
That's unacceptable.
So I wanna know before any of these events happen what my reporting obligations are so that I'm
understanding of what I'm going to have to do.
So let's please try and make a practice of this whenever there's any kind of an event that the city is somehow involved with, that we get that information to the attorney's office in a timely manner.
These things don't sneak up on us.
We know they're happening long in advance.
So let's make sure that when I ask the attorney's office to give me a binding ethics opinion about what my obligations are to the county and to the state, that they have all the information.
