But I'm just wondering just in general, and maybe this is staff that can tell me how we wound up with a design that wasn't code compliant.
So so that's actually kind of my question because I know that that curve applies to
normal projects where they're designed for the load.
In this case we have an under designed
structure and I'm concerned that it's not going to perform along your standard curve, that under designed uh projects will continue to deflect over time at a greater rate than one that's properly designed and could lead to catastrophic failure at some point.
So so no so no additional creep in the in in the in the cantilever groove over time.

How is that going to impact the integrity of the windows and the likelihood of potential moisture?

Because that was the you know, the one of the biggest problems that we've had with the old police station is that it leaked like a sieve.
And we had, you know, folks with substantial allergic reactions, health issues, workers' comp claims, all due to the mold in the building.
And so, you know, the concern that I've expressed to AECOM and to everybody else that'll listen to me
is we're gonna have a repetition of the mold issues.
We just saw this with the county courthouse, the brand new county courthouse, replacing the old courthouse.
Why?
There was mold in the old courthouse.
New county courthouse?
Mold in the courthouse.
So the idea is we're trying to replace a sick building and I don't want to replace a sick building with another very expensive brand new sick building.
So that's you know, hel help me get comfortable with that.
