I'm not a big fan of this public interview grilling process.
I went through it myself when I was hired as a city auditor.
I didn't appreciate it then, and I don't intend to subject the candidates to it now.

One thing I would like to touch on that we didn't get to yesterday is tell me about an instance where you have had to disagree with one of your elected officials and how you've handled that.

So one of the problems you're going to have, and I'm sure you've experienced this in your other jobs that you've been in, is conference meetings are going to be particularly tough because we're all going to be talking, and we're not going to give you clear direction.
I can promise you you're going to get six different directions from five people on the day of city point in time.
