Absolutely perfect bullet for what he did.

And so there's a lot of things you can, like I said, that's a perfect example.

You can do a lot of stuff with a 6.5 Creedmoor if you're set up appropriately.

Sure.

You could use a 300 Win Mag for it or a 338 Win Mag or whatnot.

And there's also situations too, like say you take two real similar cartridges, 7 PRC, 7 Rim Mag.

For what most people are doing, there's not a lot of difference between those two cartridges.

And I would much rather somebody, say if they were coming to hunt Africa with my guys, I would much rather have them show up with a 6.5 Creedmoor with good bullets, like a Partition or a Barnes or something like that, that they shoot very, very well than a .30-06 or a .300 Win Mag that either they can't shoot well or they're bringing really crummy ammo for.

So that is definitely a big part of the controversy.

And just within my audience, I can almost pick someone's age or not their exact age, but the generation that they are in based upon the comments that I get on my emails and my videos and podcasts and all of that stuff.

What they say, okay, you're a millennial, you're a boomer, whatever, just based off of that.

So there's definitely an age gradient.

But it's not just limited to that because there's young guys that like old cartridges and there's old guys that shoot the 6.5 Creedmoor and all of the new stuff too.

I think it's also a style of hunting that some people want.

The 6.5 Creedmoor has a reputation that is deserved for being a long-range cartridge.

And a lot of people get into...

get into trouble with that cartridge, hunting for either using what I consider to be inappropriate bullets for the task or trying to take shots that they have no business taking.

And it is a cartridge that if you buy a guy, people do this all the time, but a guy can go to the store and buy a $400 Ruger American rifle, a box of Hornady Precision Hunter ammo, a Vortex Scope,

put it on his rifle, and be shooting 1,000 yards that evening.

And it's one of the... That was the first cartridge, I think, that was widely accessible like that, where you could get that level of performance at an entry level like that.
