I mean, but it's the same argument.

It is the same.

It's not exactly the same, but it is similar, though.

But if you look at wind deflection on a given cartridge and whatnot...

You have a lot more every hundred yards you go down range, your wind deflection gets bigger and bigger.

There's a much bigger jump in how much that bullet is going to move between five and six hundred yards than there is between four and five hundred and then even more so than between three and four hundred.

So the more you push that envelope, the more challenging it gets and it gets kind of exponentially more difficult in that way.

Uh, but you know, it's one of these things that the, that the improvements in technology, the improvements in shooting schools, access to shooting schools and all of that stuff.

There's way more of those now than there were 20, 30 years ago.

Um, I mean, I've, I used to think that shooting a thousand yards was the Holy grail.

It's like, man, maybe one day I'll be able to do that.

And now I'm shooting.

I don't do it all the time, but I have gone to shooting schools and shot a mile at targets.

No way I would shoot an animal that far, but I mean, it's almost comically easy at the range with a good rifle and everything once you get the basics down.

But I mean, you know, no one's making a first round hit at distances that far.

You're adjusting and walking the rounds in like that.

But those things have made it easier for people to hit shots at 200, 300, 400 yards, but they've also given people the idea that they can take shots at even longer ranges, and then they're getting in trouble at that distance.

That is a giant part of it, and then the other part is, too, shooting off of a field shooting position because you're not shooting off a bench.

Rarely are you even shooting prone.

I mean, I shot an elk last year.
