That was so much fun.

I hunted with my dad in Namibia.

Typical Plains game hunt over there.

I was like, this is great.

I'm coming back.

I want to hunt buffalo.

And so the nice thing about, there's a lot of crummy things about being deployed, but one of the nice things about it is you don't pay federal income tax when you're deployed.

And my expenses were basically nothing.

I sold my car.

I moved out of my house.

I had all my stuff in storage.

I was just paying a couple hundred bucks a month for a storage unit and incidentals and stuff like that.

So I basically saved an entire year's worth of salary, plus no federal income tax, plus combat pay, everything when I was over there.

And so I did a lot of things with that money when I got back.

bought an engagement ring for my wife, paid for our honeymoon, all that stuff.

But I also went back to Africa and hunted Cape Buffalo in Zimbabwe in early 2012 between Iraq and Afghanistan.

Yeah, it definitely was.
