And it sounds like your first time in Africa was not too dissimilar from mine in terms of the animals that you went after and everything.

First animal I ever killed in Africa was a warthog.

Shot it on the first afternoon there.

And that...

Gosh, may still be, it may always be the quote unquote best animal I ever take over there.

And I knew it was a nice warthog and all that stuff, but you know, the pH was like, oh my God, man, this thing is just, just amazing.

And, uh, but like I said, I shot him 45 minutes into the hunt the first day.

I was like, man, this is great.

I'm, I'm, I'm awesome.

Yeah.

Oh yeah, definitely.

And I am glad that I did not go over straight for Cape Buffalo on that first hunt.

And cause while I had hunted a lot, it was mainly deer hunting, a little bit of hog hunting and stuff like that, but it was a very different experience.

What I was used to in Texas versus what I had over there.

shooting standing off of sticks like that was very i figured it out but it was definitely a big learning curve and i struggled initially i missed a couple times and stuff i wounded an animal and everything and so it was a humbling experience and so when i went back for buffalo i knew exactly i didn't know exactly how it was going to work but i knew generally how it was going to work and i knew what i needed to work on and i worked my butt off to prepare for that on the buffalo hunt and things went a lot smoothly on that a lot more smoothly on the second trip

And that hunt in Namibia and that hunt in Zimbabwe that I killed a buffalo on, both of them, they were in completely different parts of Africa, but the situation was not too dissimilar in that I was taking shots at, you know, 40, 50, 80, 90 yards maybe.

You know, I took a couple shots right over 100 yards, but not too much farther than that.

I had one shot prone that it was a lot farther.
