But that wasn't an issue.

I wasn't shooting that far off of sticks.

But it was, for the most part, shorter shots at pretty big animals.

But they're moving.

And you've got to wait for them to stop in an opening.

And then you only have a few seconds to do it.

And so you don't have a lot of time to mess around.

So when I was in Afghanistan, I was nearing the end of my obligation to the Army.

You owe five years active duty to the Army when you graduate West Point.

And at the end of that, you can either stay in or you can get out.

And I was thinking, OK, I'm going to be getting out in the next year or so.

What do I want to do?

And just kind of on a lark at the beginning of the deployment, when I had some free time, I did a Google search for like how to make money hunting.

And I found some place, some guy was selling a PDF for like $30 or something like that for how to make money hunting.

Buy this, I'll tell you 500 ways you can do it.

So I bought it and the guy actually did a great job.

That $30 was some of the best money I've ever spent in terms of the return I got on it.

He outlined a bunch of honest, like no joke ways that if you're actually really serious about it, you can make money hunting.

One of them was starting a hunting blog.

And he even walked me through the process of registering a domain, setting up the site to actually write it and all that.
