I think the answer is yes there.

Uh there are two hundred and eighty five million barrels of uh

o of oil left in the strategic petroleum reserve here in the United States, two hundred and eighty-five.

And the conventional wisdom is that once you're down to two hundred and fifty million barrels, you're skirting with disaster, that once you begin to take more oil out after you've reached the two hundred and fifty million barrel level, uh there's real danger that you can uh damage badly the caverns in which that oil

oil is located.

So we're we're rapidly reaching the point where it will not be safe to take oil out of the strategic petroleum reserve.

With regard to China, uh

Before the war started they were importing twelve million barrels a day.

Of oil.

they reduce that down to seven million barrels a day.

So that's a drop off of five million barrels a day of imported

oil.

And they of course, I believe, compensated for that uh with their strategic petroleum reserve.

But that's now going back up.

uh and uh i it appears that they are now importing about nine million barrels a day.

So they were importing twelve million barrels a day before the war started.

It went down to seven million

barrels a day, and now they're back up to nine million barrels a day and heading back towards twelve million barrels, according to every one

I can find on the internet who talks about this issue.

And then of course there's the matter of Saudi oil, which we talked about before.
